Writing an anecdote
Dear Pioneers,This week in our writing we will share an anecdote.
Keep in mind that the objective is to use the past tenses or narrative tenses and time markers.
Some ideas of anecdotes can be:
- The time you met your husband/wife)
- A memorable experience in your life.
- Your high school friends.
- A trip you took.
You will organize your writing as follows:
- Paragraph 1 --> introduction of your topic, characters and setting
- Paragraph 2 --> Situation (problem+solution
- Paragraph 3 --> end of story

Hello guys I'm gonna write about my last happily trip to Europe, I went with my family three months ago to visit a friend in England.
ReplyDeleteWe have a friend that lives in England, so he had invited us many times, we hadn't gone before so at the end we accepted. We were waiting at the Heathrow airport and we needed to move to the Stansted airport to take the next flight but the security were working slowly and by the time we arrived to the bus terminal the tickets had gone, so we had to wait one day and also sadly we missed our flight. We got to buy new tickets and by the time we spend our day at the city and quickly go to sightseeing to the most important things like London eye, Buckingham castle, Big ben etc.
I choose two topics, a memorable experience in my life and a trip, because it memorable experience happened in a trip.
ReplyDeleteIt was in the last competition of my son and daughter last year. It was memorable because I had the opportunity of watched them in the same sport, at different categories, in the same place. By the time I was the most of time with the little one, Andrea, and the older one that is 19th I saw him only in the competitions because as a teenager, he didn´t want me near all time. It took place in Orlando, Florida, in Disney resorts and sport convention centers.
It was an exhausted experience because for the season they had been trainning during the competitions so we hadn´t time to travel. At the end of the season we, only my daughter and me, traveled to Atlanta, so that week, was a relaxed trip, where I visited some family and knew that modern Green city and some historical places like the Martin Luther King´s house, museum and memorial. The upleasant expirience was that we traveled by bus from Orlando to Atlanta, in Grayhound line, at night, so that trip was frightened because in that bus traveled many ragged people. That night I remembered my brother in law, because he had told me that Greyhound was not very good, he had recomended me to rent a car, but I didn´t want to drive to many hours. I regreted not obeying him.
Finally this trip was an amazing one, because I made a lot of things but mainly I spent a lot of time with my daughter.
Remember this anecdote makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteIt happened in 2009, my boyfriend had invited me to a wedding in Antigua, so I went to a beauty salon, I dressed stylish and he came to my house at 6:00 to go there. He wore very elegant. In our way, he told me that it was too early, so we move on to a restaurant named “Sereno”. We walked into a very cute place, full of flowers, candles and when we “were getting to know the place” he proposed to me :o)
It was a very exciting moment and I was very surprised. The dinner was delicious. And to close the special night, he had prepared a fireworks show. It was really amazing!

DeleteI had a trip with my family to monterrico in our vacations, in that occasion we went to "villa los cabos" that was a wonderfull travel because we had time to relax and take time with the family, I like all in that place.
ReplyDeleteI remember we rent an apartment and it had all the furniture , this appartment also had a little signs with messages like "if you broke something you need to paid the damage" we feel some scare because we try to don't touch anything.
For our bad luck, one of my niece she broke the table and this looks so expensive, so we feel afraid because we will be pay the table, but my dad had a good idea and he tried to fix the table and he can repair this table.
That was good because we feel better :)
So that was a beatifull trip and I had good memories for this trip
One day, I took a trip with a big group of my family, I remember that we were like 18 people in this activity.
ReplyDeleteI remember that we had a problem because we did not have idea of where we were going to sleep, so my family decided to pay for 9 rooms in this hotel, so…this trip was very funny because we were a lot of people in this activity.
The end of the anecdote is that we staid in that place for 3 days; and we made activitys together, like go to the pool, or eat in some restaurants, or go to parks of games.
My last vacation was in Cartagena-Colombia, it was a beautiful experience. I went with my best friend, we visited a lot places like ports, several central comercial, central park, a few churches.
ReplyDeleteWhen we back to Guatemala, we don't know that we had to aboard in the approach track, a bus taked the passengers and leaves them in the stand so that you can go to the aircraft. In the dashboard depatur we saw "in door", it's meaning the plain at that moment close the door for leave.
We are scared beacuse we don't have cash, for buy another tickets, luckely the enterprise sold us for USD100 another tikect for back the next day, and we can paid by credit card.
