ReplyDeleteMy expectations for this course are:
1. Try to speak more fluently in english
2. Increase my vocabulary and idioms
3. Reduce my grammar mistakes.
4. improve my pronunciation
5. Be able to understand more accents, rythms, and specializied topics.
6. Try to read more in english, like relax literature, novels, biographys, design articles, fashion articles, etc.
It were 6 instead of 5, and I could continue finding more things to improve in english even in spanish.
So I see you next Saturday, and thanks for the challenge of the blog.

ReplyDeleteSetting more expectations is not bad at all. In fact, the more you expect, the harder you'll push yourself to work. I really appreciate you participation in our blog. That is a great way to increase your vocabulary. I will definitely support you and provide advice on how to work on other areas.
Maybe other Pioneers can share what they're doing to improve. Am I right?
Is interesting how we learn more and more, and it's a wounderfull have the oportunity to share what I think. My 5 expectation are: 1. I suscribe a vocabulary page that Betzy recomended. 2. Think in english 3. Don't use a traslator because i want to learn from my mistakes, if i wrote wrong a few word please led me know. 4. It's a challenge practices with my classmate our conversation in recesses. And 5. The time is depend us. See you tomorow and TGF (thanks god is friday) for all of you

I have a question. Why I and Delmy have the sign of B (blogger) in our comments, You Betzy have your avatar, Yeshua has his picture. Is it because Yeshua used the google plus, Delmy and I the blogspot.com and you Betzabe, Is your avatar as a the picture that Yeshua used. Am I right?

DeleteHi guys, I´m so happy because today I started an english reading. Maybe it´s a complicated book, and surely I´ll need to re read it.
ReplyDeleteBut meanwhile I´m learning a lot of vocabulary, so I have a question for you Miss. Give me some examples to understand each of the terms, but using each one in diferent ways or sentences without having to memorize each one.
This weekend I went to the book fair, so I bought the Human Action of Ludwig von Mises. That´s my english book. I always wanted to read it.
But while I was writing this, my dougther read it, and she corrected my puctuation and asked me "Mom, have they ever tougth you the FANBOYS?" And she explained me that one of the use of the commas has to be to use it only after a FANBOYS, and FANBOYS is the acronym of:
For
And
Nor
But
Or
Yet
So,
So I understand that I must use a comma after one of this words.
