I love to watch TV on weekenend so I start to watch DR House at netflix (I know ¡! ) He always knows the correct answers, but I think its a interesting TV show to express the power of acting and the ability to express themselves with diferent faces.
This picture can show us different way to say something. Angry, happiness, sadness, scared, and more. So I think the actors really need to read their scripts and get involved into character, they need to live as the movie or tv show ask them, for example Heath Ledger playing as the Joker at Batman movie, their friends say he got involved to much in his character.
Its amazing to think that only looking a picture you can feel expression and feelings, imagine how many time they need to practice it.
now In my case, I think I need to be better actor, Im not so good acting, My wife makes funny about it. She is an excellent actress jaja!
I think actors and actresses are people who have studied a lot on how to express feelings, thoughts and emotions with their body language.Their job is marvelous and helps us to understand real life topics.

You are right Herber. Acting is a science... I think. It is necessary to understand human behavior and feelings to deliver an outstanding performance.

Although I´ve not seeing the movie, I've seen others: Captain America, The Avengers, The Age of Ultron, Thor... and I think the cast of the films are very good. Some people have a touch which like others: Crhis Evans, Paul Rudd and of course Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman.

ReplyDeleteThe man is impressive. He has been in so many movies, playing so many different roles. He has played the role of a dumb guy, a guy in love, a liar, a paranoid mad, a stocker, a wise man, a fool, etc. Imagine how much time he has spent in his scripts. I think actors demonstrate a total control of their body language and their facial expressions. Someone who wasn't really good at that was Leo DiCaprio. Perhaps you'll agree with me. He recently won an Oscar (finally) and I think it has been hard for him, although he has been in so many movies, he is maybe missing the cherry on the top by using a better nonverbal language in his acting. I don't know what you think.
I love this topic. My family and I really enjoy watching movies; I can say we do this every weekend. I really admire actors and actresses, as you sad is not easy to perform a character that could be completely different compared with the actors. I agree with all of you, they have to study a lot although having the needed skills. My brother told me that the actress who performed "Rey" (Daisy Ridley) in the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens had to learn how to fight and how to use the weapons her character used in the movie, very interesting right?
ReplyDeleteAbout Leo DiCaprio I also have been thinking that he is not a good actor, but I was impressed about his latest movie, the one he won the Oscar: The Revenant, he really did a great performance there, maybe now he found his role, don't you think?.
Herber: If you go to see Civil War, don't take your kids with you, we tried last weekend and our son was not able to see it (the movie is for 12 and older), first time that Cinemas are really taking care of this here in Guatemala. At the end we couldn't see it, so we chose Angry Birds (I slept since the very beginning until the end).
Thanks for your advice Evelyn. It seems to me that in Guatemala are blowing airs of change in many topics: politics, economics, labor... and now: taking care of what children are allowed to see. This sounds fine to me.
