This week’s post is different. This time you will have to show off your creativity and how well you master your narrative tenses. You have to share a short story. Make sure it has three detailed paragraphs that provide a beginning, middle, and end for the story. Make it interesting. Select a nice title. Please comment on your friend’s stories. I love creating stories. Allow me to share one with you.
Love at the Mall
It was a particularly
warm summer day. Amanda and Lucy, two beautiful teens, decided to go window
shopping. They really enjoyed visiting malls, and spending time together. They had so much fun together. They had never
imagined that this day they would meet two new friends. Sam and Vincent stopped
at the mall for some drinks after attending a soccer match. They couldn’t help
seeing Amanda and Lucy, and decided to talk to them immediately. The guys
invited the girls to join them for some drinks. Amanda and Lucy couldn’t
decline these handsome young men’s invitation.
While
sharing a few drinks, the new friends shared a little form each other. Amanda
noticed how Sam observed her friend Lucy. She realized Sam seem quite interested
in her friend. They all had a very friendly chat. It was time to go home and everyone
exchanged phone numbers. Of course, Sam
made sure he had Lucy´s.
That night
Sam called Lucy, who seemed to answer eagerly. Apparently those kids had a lot
in common. They confessed to each other how they had felt since they came
across sight. They agreed it was definitely love at first sight. It was love at
the mall. Lucy and Sam are together since then. They were thinking of getting
married in spring. They will most likely live happily.
Fishing day
ReplyDeleteThey say that the things you dont plan are the best! It was a saturday when me and Luis decided to go to the beach, we drove to Puerto San Jose and stayed at Luis beach house. its a wonderful house at Pacific All Season, has everything including pool.
So the next day we went fishing, we was at dock at 6am to get the boat, its amazing to be inside the ocean, you can see dolphins , turtles, a lot of beatiful and colorful fishes. In the boat was Luis, two sailor and me and we wanted to fish sailfish.
At the end of the day we fished 2 sailfishes , four "dorado", you can eat "dorado" fish, so we backed to land at 4:00pm, then we cooked and eat at 6:00pm, it was a really amazing time with a friend. At night we had some drinks with friend and the sailor.
It was adventure time for you Fernando. Going fishing is one the things I've always wanted to do. When I was a little kid I went sometimes "to fish" whit my friends to Coatepeque's nearby rivers. All we did was fishing little fishes and put them into a nylon box, after that we took them home just for fun.
DeleteFishing Day is an awesome short story. Did you created it or is it something that really happened?
ReplyDeleteIf it is real, it sounds like great fun!
Nice job Fer!

ReplyDeleteMy family and I really enjoy traveling to visit archeological places. Last year we went twice to Tikal. The first visit was so special, we were by car and decided to spend some time in the middle of the way, at Rio Dulce, my husband was not able to go with us, so it was the first time to me just with my son. He was trying to take care of me; it was the first time that I experienced that coming from my son, actually I can say was a great experience.
ReplyDeleteRio Dulce is absolutely a beautiful place; the first day the weather was so perfect but the second one we had some rain, even that was so special to have the dinner in the deck seeing the storm. The hotel we chose is pretty different to a normal hotel; this one was built over a mangrove and each room is a cabin with a bird’s name. The night we spent there, was so special, hearing all amazing noises, I had never spent a night in a place like that.
After all those incredible moments we continue our trip to Peten, we were so excited at the entrance of the first Mayan site we visited: Yaxa, we arrived there about 3 PM, nobody else was in the site (People are used to visiting those sites early and leave from the park after lunch). We really enjoyed the place; I can say that I enjoyed every simple thing: monkeys following us, the characteristic smell of the trees, all noises. The most amazing experience was to observe the sunset from the top of the site’s highest pyramid, it was possible to observe a lake located there with an island in the middle and the sunset behind; at the sunset all noises changed immediately, all animals understood what was happening and at that moment I said thanks God for this invaluable experience. Next time I will let you know what happened the next day at Tikal.
Traveling to Tikal is always exciting and marvelous Evelyn. What I like about your history is that your little son was taking care of you. That makes me to remember when I was used to take my Dad's place when he was out of home. I'll be waiting for knowing what happend the day after your trip to Tikal.

ReplyDeleteMy visit to the planetarium (By Herber Urrutia)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was 22 I went to LA for the first time. I visited some relatives. They took me to a lot of places: Disneyland, Magic Mountain and some others. The one I enjoyed most was the planetarium. I remember have seen a representation of the universe history, the solar system, the galaxies and constelations.
Being expoused to such greatness and marvels made me think God does exist. I couldn't believe that such amazing celestial objects and order were nothing but a result of a divine mind and a powerfull being: The Creator.
When I left the planetarium I felt like if I were reached the stars and that I should be part of them. In fact, one of my biggest dreams is to travel to another planets. Maybe I won't be able to but my children: May the force be with them!
