Hard to believe?

Have you ever experienced a paranormal happening?

Well, my grandpa used to say, "Don't believe, and to never stop believing!". Strange right?
Many films have been inspired in paranormal experiences. Film makers have taken advantage of the fans' interest in evil possessions, ghosts, bizarre events, and more.
The bottom question is: How much of it do we believe?
I can share a couple of paranormal happenings I have experienced. The one I remember the most happened back when I was 13 years old. My grandfather had recently passed away. Something you must know is that my grandpa used to drag his feet when walking. His bedroom was at the end of the hall. My study room was at the opposite end. Every time he walked out or moved to other room I was able to hear his footsteps. With that explained, you can see where my story is going now. A week after my grandpa had passed away, I was in my study room as usual. The most bizarre thing happened. I clearly heard my grandfather's footsteps approaching the room where I was. At first I thought, "Oh, grandpa is coming to check on me!". All of the sudden I remembered he had passed away and I totally freaked out. I was in my granny's room in no time.
Now it is kind of funny, but I really felt scared when that happened.
I invite you to share an experience, or two. And if you would like to read a little bit of what scientists think about the topic check out this interesting article.

When I was 10 years old , my father asked me to go with him to Xela, It was a coldest night and we stayed at Hotel El Campo, its one of the oldest hotel in the area. So my dad went to a meeting with his business partners and I stayed alone like a 4 or 5 hours, can you imagine at that age in a coldest and loonely night in a oldest hotel?!! suddenly I heard my mom voice, I m sure i heard saying something like ¿Fer? , at that moment I was hidding at back of bathroom door. I read the article and i agree with them, its very interesting

    1. Probably our mind tricks us. What has happened a lot in my house is that we hear our names being called, we ask, but no one was actually calling us. It is very weird.

  2. About this topic, I think there is something else than just us, anyway I don’t like paranormal because is logic to think that may be divided in the good and bad or dark side even when we are not talking about Star Wars, I am just kidding. The request for today is to write some paranormal event we had experienced, so I will tell you what happened to me during the first months of my marriage. We used to live in a small house located at San Cristobal, I really loved that house, it was our first property and our son spent his first year of life there, actually we lived there for about 5 years. I remember that bizarre happenings occurred to me several times while we were living there, even that I don’t know why. Since that time up to now I have been used to going out from our home after my husband and all happenings occurred when I was alone at home. I am used to telling to my husband everything, so I started to talk to him about those bizarre events but I realized that almost all the time he was thinking that all of them had a logical explanation. Several times I heard somebody knocking the bathroom’s door while I was taking a shower; also I was able to hear footsteps. The last event and the most evident was some day in which my husband and me were taking our breakfast together, my husband finished so fast and then he went out from home to go to his work. After he closed the door somebody hit a plant we had in the kitchen, it caused a strong noise but besides that it made the plant starts moving continuously from one side to the other one. At that moment my husband was going inside his car, so I went out and called him to review what was happening, I think it was the first time he realized what I had been trying to explain him. The following weekend we called a priest who is friend of us, he went to our house and blesses it, and then all paranormal happenings stopped.

    1. That story sound perfect for a movie. I guess there are a couple of movies in which houses are haunted and sruff moves. Can that just be the wind? Who knows. But the good thing is that it didn't happen anymore.

  3. My first paranormal experience by Herber Urrutia

A long time ago when I was 5 or 6 years old I remember my mother was ironing clothes, I was laying at my bed, It was araound seven p.m. Suddenly I saw a man getting out from the iron's plug cable which was holding from the socket. He looked like if he were a military man. He weared green clothes and hat. He walked throug the room and went out. While this was happening I stared to scream to my mother, but she saw nothing. After that I scared but my mother patted me and made feel better. I've remembered such event my whole life.

    1. I guess children tend to see out of this world stuff due to their incredible imagination. Perhaps you used to watch some sort of G.I. Joe cartoon and all of the sudden you imagined it. Who knows. But it is crazy how someting paranormal has happened to everyone. Thank you for sharing!!!
